Clemson Maker Space Opening

Clemsonmakerspace_Owen

Few things better than seeing people who you’ve spent time with go on to do amazing things. I was able to attend the opening of the Clemson Maker Space in early March 2015. Owen was one of the young people I’ve worked with who benefited from the iT2Pi program in the early years. He built a RepRap 3D printer from scratch when he was 16 with our help. He has now gone on to be one of the co-founders of the Clemson Maker Space on campus and recently received a 65K infusion to help build it further.  Learn more about it here. ((SO PROUD OF HIM!))

HIPHOP 4 FLINT Greenville, SC

I documented a community event organized by SympL and Lifted  on March 18th in Greenville to raise money for the installation of new water filters in the Flint, MI community that was part of the national HipHop4Flint event. Daytime event included live art making and an amazing cypher by local artists.
